Make friends and get creative at Club Wednesday.

Every third Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m., the Kiln Library hosts a special program called Club Wednesday. This monthly gathering is designed for adults of all abilities, offering a welcoming space where creativity, conversation, and community come together. Whether you’re a longtime participant or someone looking for a new way to connect, Club Wednesday is all about sharing experiences and having fun in a relaxed, supportive environment.

At each session, participants take part in a hands-on craft project. From painting and seasonal decorations to imaginative DIY creations, the crafts are simple, enjoyable, and designed so that everyone can take part at their own pace. The best part is seeing how each person puts their own unique spin on the project, resulting in a wide variety of creative outcomes to admire and celebrate.

Club Wednesday is about more than just making crafts—it’s about building friendships. The program provides time to socialize, laugh, and connect with others. For many, it’s an opportunity to slow down, enjoy a morning away from routine, and be part of a supportive group that values creativity and community equally. After the craft, many participants also enjoy visiting the library’s shelves to browse and check out books to take home.

Whether you’re interested in trying a new hobby, meeting new friends, or simply enjoying a fun and uplifting morning, Club Wednesday has something for you. We invite all adults to join us on the third Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Kiln Library—no library card is necessary to participate but we would love to get you set up with one anyway! Bring your creativity, bring your smile, and come see what makes Club Wednesday such a bright spot in the month for so many.
